The free thinking and unconstrained imganination has lead to effective deisgn solutions in a wide variety of marine scenarios. Master marine is now focussing on the power boat world with fresh innovations and solutions. As demonstrated in our partnership with FatCat Boats which has now established itself as a sort after New Zealand brand with export markets all over the world. From Micro Tenders for sailing yachts and and launches to sport fisher designs to Master Marine meets the demanding challenges of New Zealand's and the world 's seas.
The Fatcat story demostrates how lateral thinking has lead to a design success that is now expoerted all over the world. Following on from this we have created in Aircat the supreme handling small boat witrh excellent stability and space not matched by other sub 6.0 m craft. Attention has now turned to the tender market with the introduction of the MicroTENDER mini.. At 2.0 M Long & 25 KG it has the smallest footprint you could imgaine but an incredible load capacity, greater than that of most 2.6 metre Inflatables.

Consultancy- We offer advice to the DIY Boaty for a number of commonly encountered problems, From what paint system to use (and how to) to on your fibreglass, wood, steel or alloy boat to performance evaluations and corrective solutions. We have knowledge that is easy to impart and and can provide methodologies for solving most problems. This includes advice on prop pitching, trim tabs, hull modifications etc. Plus Project Management foir the complete Turn Key refit solution. Insurance Vessel Condition Reports - We offer a service for those requirting a vessel conditon report for their insurance company. This process take 2-3 hours and in many cases can be peformed on the marina or mooring. We can also advise on insurance providers inclkuding 3rd party insurance. Agent for Parsun Outboard Motors - Parsun are china's premium brand and supply China's military. They use design technology supplied by major Japanese brands and also use the same parts and componentry. They offer a reliable cost effective solution for many boats, particularly those requiring a 2 stroke engine. Parsun manufactures 2 stroke outboards from 2.5 Hp to 90 Hp and 4 stroke outboards from 2.6 Hp to 300 Hp. www.parsun.co.nz SUPER Trim- Composite trim tabs for outboards, stern drives and all all power boat hulls. Roger Tweddell formed Master Marine in 2011 after 35 years immersed in windsurf and yachting design, and competing at the highest levels. Rogers passion for the water adventures and a new found passion for fishing lead him to a desire to transfer his skills to boats and the marine industry.
